Five
minutes of terror for the dogs last night, then the firework explosions and
gunfire subsided. The Benadryl tablets
Judy gave them earlier helped. We all
got a good night’s sleep, even if it started a little late.
(All
those bullets fired into the air came down somewhere. Population isn’t dense here, so there is a
good chance that none of them hit anybody.
Falling bullets don’t travel nearly as fast as they come out the muzzle
of the gun in the first place (They reach a terminal velocity of about 150 mph
when falling.), but we stayed under our deck cover just in case.)
Happy
New Year everybody!
