Or expect.
At Choke Canyon State Park there are RV spots, like we stay at in our motorhome. There are tent sites. For those without RVs or tents, there are cabins and shelters for rent.
It was a peaceful scene at this shelter. All the kitchen gear out on the table. Awnings up. Javelinas peacefully grazing in the yard. Wait. Javelinas? These places aren’t for javelinas. Fishermen had set up camp here, then took their boats out fishing for the day. While they were gone, the javelinas took advantage.
The javelinas trashed everything in their reach, then laid down to burp and fart until someone came home to shoo them away.
Not cool; arriving home to a pile of satisfied javelinas.
