We have two patios, and we love them both. The lower patio, in front by the pond, gets full sun exposure until the afternoon. It’s a great place for coffee in the morning, but a little too warm mid-day in the summertime. The side patio under the awning is cool and breezy, but a little small.
Thanks to Forrest and Kim at Johnson’s Greenhouse, we’ve got some ideas about how to improve both. We can expand the border of the lower patio, add a little “interest” in the plantings, and add a water feature. We can expand the side patio. Here are the “before” pictures.
