I was introduced to this
word while at Becky’s house. It’s a word that, without even knowing what
it means, makes kids laugh. I laughed.
To absquatulate means to
leave abruptly, perhaps under less-than-ideal circumstances. Beat
feet. Get out of Dodge. I’ve been trying ever since to
casually bring that word into conversation but to no avail. So here it
is, presented entirely without context. And having done that, time for me
to absquatulate.
