Wilson’s Warbler

 

 

Distinctive black cap.  Usually, they’re shy.  Retiring.  They stay in the foliage.  This one, however, came right out in the open and circled around my feet.


 

Best looks I’ve ever had.


 


 


 

These birds winter from here south through Central America.  In the summer they migrate north all the way to breeding grounds in Canada and Alaska.
