Grandchild Taylor got accepted for a master’s degree program
at University of Reading, 40 Miles west of London on the M4.
The field of study will be Professional Human
Osteoarchaeology. Osteoarchaeologists
identify and analyze (analyse in British) human skeletal remains from
archaeological sites. Whenever old
burial sites get dug up, accidentally or otherwise, osteoarchaeolgists get called
in to figure out what they’ve just found.
An exciting new chapter for Taylor, and for us as we follow the
adventure. It starts in the fall.
I’ve already looked to see what birds have been spotted within
a 25 mile radius of campus in the last week.
Total sightings, 137 species.
Number of those that would be lifers for us, 107. I feel a trip to visit Taylor coming on!
