Well. That was a weird night.
We said all we wanted was for this election to be over. I guess we should have been more specific. Looks like Judy and my votes didn’t turn our red state of Texas blue after all.
I’m the one always touting change. Embrace it. Adapt to it. It’s unavoidable anyway, so might as well go with it. Okay. I think things are going to be different alright, even though no one really knows how yet. For the last eight years we’ve been hearing “We need to take our country back.” Well, you’ve got it back now!
Let’s see… I still need to find a yellow-throated warbler for the year. I know there’s one around here somewhere…
