I eat oatmeal every morning, so I’ve had plenty of time to contemplate its merits (and shortcomings). I try to be positive and supportive, but I’ve been forced to the conclusion that oatmeal is just not very smart.
You would think by now, after all these years, it would know the way from the cup to my mouth without detouring onto my shirt like it does. It is disappointing to report, but I guess oatmeal is just incapable of learning.
