Port aransas

Tuesday. We didn't bird much today. We rested. While we rested we saw
another fourteen birds we hadn't seen yet this trip. We haven't seen the
green heron very often before. He was at the edge of the pond in front of
us. We got the roseate spoonbill, that's always nice. And the American
oystercatcher. He always looks like somebody made a mistake putting him
together. Least tern. He's so tiny. He's just bigger than the warblers
we've been looking at. We got a long look at Mr. and Mrs. indigo bunting,
an orchard oriole, and a bullock's oriole. And one new bird, the
rose-breasted grosbeak. 360.

Tomorrow, maybe we'll go check out the purple martin condos in Rockport.
