Summer at Sandpipers

We turn the lights off at night.  It’s 80 degrees outside.

We get up the next morning for coffee on the deck at 7.  It’s 80 degrees outside.

During the day it warms up to 90 – 95.

It cools down to 80 again the next night.

It might not be summer on the calendar yet, but summer comes early here in South Texas.

A small bird perches on the wire and sings every morning.

It’s a Painted Bunting.
