There is a big
batch of winter weather here in the west. 35 degrees in Las Cruces and
way colder to the north. People in cars are trapped in blizzard
conditions in Northeastern New Mexico. It’s snowing in Colorado.
Through Texas
Canyon.
We were going to
go farther today but got stuck in a very slow 75 mile detour. There was a
truck rollover on Interstate 10, and the only way around was through Hachita to
the south, through Animas to Rodeo to the west, then back up north to the Interstate.
There were stop signs in each town that slowed down the steady flow.
Stopped in Benson, AZ for the night.
Saguaro.
Cane Cholla.
Not a cloud.
Freezing weather
tonight. We’re staying warm in our little rolling home.
