We’ll go to Colorado for the month of May. We’ll drop down to Arizona for the month of June, before it gets too hot.
Oops. It’s too hot. Phoenix is about to hit 120 degrees, the hottest it has been there in decades. Excessive heat warnings. It’s too hot for us.
We headed west.
It’s a little hot driving through the desert, but we’ve got plenty of air conditioners; generator on, both overhead air conditioners directed to the front room (and driving compartment), and dash air on full. It might be even hotter than Phoenix where we are in Yuma tonight, but we’ll continue west tomorrow. Time for a visit to the California coast to visit Judy’s sister-in-law Barbara, and Judy’s sister Sue. We’re excited about seeing them, but Vista California; that’s very close to Oceanside, and you know what Oceanside means…
