It’s our 10 year anniversary in the bus today. In celebration of that event, we’ve brought the motorhome back to her roots in Bend Oregon. We’re at Beaver Coach Sales, where we made the purchase. We’re getting a few things fixed; some tank gauges, a slide-out latch, some minor interior stuff.
It’s fun to work with the people in the service and parts departments that have been with Beaver Coaches for all this time. Many of them were helping build them in the factory fifteen or twenty years ago. When we describe things we want fixed or modified, we get instant recognition of what we’re talking about. They’ve seen all this many times before. They know their coaches.
We had an appointment for Tuesday morning at 8am. They were ready for us when we walked in the door. They did everything on our list in a day and a half. A visit to a repair shop and we’re almost sorry for it to be over so fast.
We’ll be off to continue our adventure first thing tomorrow morning.
