Lunch with John B. and Kip
Johnny and I were kids together in Southern California. We skim-boarded on the beach. We walked and talked late into the night. We played folk guitars and sang. We joined the Army together. We went our separate ways, running in to each other from time-to-time.
Judy and I moved to Colorado and made candles.
Johnny moved to Colorado and played in an electric folk country rock band; Slumgullion.
Johnny became the Red Baron.
I became an accountant.
All these years. All our separate adventures. We’re still great friends and make it a point to see each other every year now.
