Conner (eight years old) has been on a paleontology kick for the last few months, reading books, watching documentaries, and asking endless questions about extinct animals. One of his particular interests has been in human ancestors. Taylor (nineteen) is taking a lab in Anthropology at the University of Northern Colorado. Wednesday they had a hands-on activity, learning to identify several early hominids by their skulls. She got permission to bring Conner to class to participate. When he walked in the door, and saw all the ancient bones, he was a REALLY happy kid! He got to stay there for the entire class and even take a quiz with the college kids.
