No stickum allowed. Sand and water only.
The only additions are little wires at the top, not to provide support, but to keep gulls from landing on the most sensitive parts of the sculptures.
As the sculptures dry out they deteriorate. I’d like to watch them go away slowly over the course of many days, but they are only left up for a day or two then they get bulldozed.
