Are you wondering what those flowers were called in the recent email I sent out?

I was wondering too, and I couldn’t figure it out, so I gave up and asked McIntyre if he knew.  I wasn’t sure he would know.  He might only know about things that creep, crawl, wiggle, and fly.

Shrimp plant, Justicia Brandegeeana.  It’s tropical.  Native to Mexico.

Thanks, Jon.

Sleeping spoonbills

And a waking-up stretch.

I like the redhead duck next to him that seems to be taking offense at something the spoonbill said or did.

White Pelicans

Having a splashabout.

Pelicans typically don’t make any noise.  There is no pelican “call”.  The sound of them thumping the water with those big wings can be heard from quite a way away though.
