…and a few days before that, we got two Ferruginous Hawks!
They’ve been getting some weather in Port Aransas. We’re told they’ve had a foot and a half of rain over the last week. A couple days ago they got over 11 inches of rain in one day! Lots of flooding there. It’s dry here in Colorado.
That kestrel picture I sent out yesterday… He was standing on the ground, prey in his talons. A grasshopper. Fearsome predator that kestrel.
Found a snake underneath our picnic table this morning.
Judy had to wrangle it. I have no idea what’s up with that. She just can’t walk away from a snake.
