Okay

That’s it.

We absolutely LOVE this place.  Hueco Tanks.

Morning coffee.

Morning view.

We would stay longer, but there are only 20 campsites and they’re fully booked.  No opportunity for us to linger.  We’ll have to drive on to another favorite place.

We’ve been on backroads a lot this trip.  We took another one, Highway 9 from El Paso, TX to Rodeo, NM.  We drove a 75 mile stretch where we only saw one other car headed our direction.  (There were all of six cars headed the other direction.)  That was a lonely wonderful desert scenic highway.

Now we’re at Rusty’s RV Ranch for a couple nights.  This will be the first time this trip we’ve stayed at one place more than one night (on purpose).  After six days on the tanks, we’ll hook up to full utilities for some longer showers and laundry.

Here is an overhead view of the entire park.  It’s so spacious; no-one pushed together.  There are walking trails throughout and around the perimeter.

We’re used to humidity in the upper double digits now.  It’s a little dryer than that here.

We may have to consider setting up the humidifier!
