The travel blog

 

I started writing trip reports while we were traveling.  When we got home from our trips, I decided to keep on writing, trip or not.  Even if I didn’t have anything to say, I could go ahead and say it anyway.

 

As I send the trip reports out, I them post them to a blog as well.  So now, years later, they’re all archived in a blog, in order.  That makes our lives a searchable database.  Sometimes I need to reference something, or refresh my memory, and I go find it on the blog.  There is an index down the left side for year, month, and day.  The search field is located inconspicuously at the very top left of the screen.

Once I’m there on the blog, I find myself clicking through more posts in order, seeing what comes next in our life back then.  Sometimes I crack myself up.
