Jeff and Carol

We hung out with them a lot when we were all at Gulf Waters.

Then they moved to Bandera.  That wasn’t so far away so we still hung out with them some.

Two years ago they moved to Salem, and we haven’t seen them since.  Until yesterday.  We went to their house for dinner.

The house is nice and normal.

Truck and travel-trailer in the driveway.

But the yard; the yard is anything but normal.

…a little bit of yard-art, and a whole lot of plants.

Cameron was just put the finishing touches on the mural.

A little deck in the back with a wading pool for the granddaughter Francis.

I suppose that garden is always in bloom.

For dinner, a nice fajita spread.  Under Francis’ watchful eye, Myet prepared the custom decorated, strawberry, lemonade, seltzer special drinks.

With umbrellas!

Amanda, who works at a research facility, brought a few flats of just-picked organic blackberries and blueberries.  I think Robin and Judy didn’t move from the kitchen counter for about an hour.

It’s all Eddie’s house and yard.
