Ramsey Canyon

Monday. Our last real birding outing of the trip before we leave the prime birding area. A Ramsey Canyon walk; a Nature Conservancy property. An Arizona Sycamore, Oak, and Maple Tree desert canyon with a stream.

Good birds. Got two lifers, the Painted Redstart and the Sulphur-bellied Flycatcher.
Then we moved to a hummingbird preserve two canyons down, Miller Canyon. Hummingbirds galore. Got two more lifers, the Magnificent Hummingbird and the Berylline Hummingbird. A four lifer day! That hasn’t happened since 2008!
